Craft Velour, Doe Suede & Deer Suede fabric for doll making, stuffed animal's, teddy bear's, snow men and more.

This is the craft velour and doe suede that has replaced Guilford Mills fabrics. As you might or might not know, Guilford Mills closed it's door's about a year ago..

This craft velour and doe suede comes from the manufacturer recommended by Guilford Mills when they made the decision to close down.

These fabric's are 100% Polyester and are 60" wide.

Craft velour and Doe suede, Deer suede are similar, but slightly differ in feel. I love working with both Craft velour and Doe suede.. They both have a great feel to them and just a very slight stretch, or "give" in one direction. 

This craft velour is the nice, thick craft velour, not the thin, see through kind I've occasionally seen in stores. It's very soft to the touch and has slightly more of a "give" than the doe suede or deer suede. It makes wonderful doll's or anything you want to be able to sculpt while stuffing..

The doe suede is slightly thicker than the craft velour and has slightly less give. It also makes wonderful doll's or anything you want to be able to sculpt as you stuff.

I've purchased a brand new color of Doe Suede.. The new color is Doll Face Pink Doe Suede.. It's similar to the craft velour doll face pink, but has a more "ruddish" tone to it.. It's very close to actual Caucasian skin tone and I think it's just gorgeous!! You can see a comparison between the doll face pink craft velour and doe suede at the bottom of the page.

Slight stretch, or "give" in one direction. Very soft nap. Great for doll making, stuffed animals and so much more. Alabaster is an off white color. Craft velour can be dyed with fabric dye's to make many skin tones. I dye it to create Asian, Oriental and light  pink Caucasian skin tone.

Baby Bear Beige Craft Velour

Slight stretch, or "give" in one direction. Very soft nap. Great for doll making, teddy bears, stuffed animals & so much more. Baby Bear Beige is a soft brown toned beige.

Doll Face Pink Doe Suede, also known as Deer Suede

Slight stretch, or "give" in one direction. Very soft nap. Slightly less "give" than craft velour. Works wonderfully for doll making and so much more. I just love this tone. It's just gorgeous! It has a slightly "ruddish" tone to it that makes a beautiful skin tone.

Slight stretch, or "give" in one direction. It has a napped side and a knit side. Can be used on either side, depending on the look your going for. Great for doll making, stuffed animals and so much more. Bamboo is a yellow toned medium beige.
