Gone Baby Gone
Directed by Ben Affleck
Starring Cassey Affleck, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, Michelle Monaghan and Madeline O'Brien.
'Gone Baby Gone" is set to be released was released in October of 2007. Lil Thelma plays the doll of the little girl missing in the movie... You can see a theatrical trailer HERE with Lil Thelma in the very first clip!!

"One Who Is Loved"
Lil Thelma and friends are each 16" tall. They're just like the original Karens Kids, only smaller. They're soft, cuddly, lovable and the perfect size for little ones! Lil Thelma and each of her 5 friends are available in two outfit styles, as shown below.
Lil Thelma and friends are not one of a kind doll's and can be ordered in multiples!
These cuties are made from soft craft velour or doe suede (depending on skin tone), stuffed with premium polyester fiberfill, have hand embroidered faces, soft sculptured fingers, toes, knees and belly buttons, have yarn hair and come with quality handmade outfits that close with Velcro, so easy on and off for little hands.
Each doll is available in a choice of two outfits. Their soft sleepers come with a coordinating blankie with an elastic wrist band.  The dresses are made from gingham cotton with coordinating sweater jackets.. Each doll dressed in a daytime outfit comes with a pair of undies, socks and shoes. Dolls dressed in a sleeper or pj's come with undies and a blankie.

The Story Behind Lil Thelma

All my doll's are special to me, but Lil Thelma holds a very special place in my heart.  She was modeled after the original 21" Thelma doll I had on the site a few years ago..The original Thelma was named after my late Gramma, Thelma England, who was the kindest and sweetest woman I've ever known..My Gramma also had big blue eyes and always had a sweet smile on her face, just like Lil Thelma.. Quite by accident, the original Thelma doll was completed on my Gramma's birthday, so it only seemed fitting to name her Thelma.
When I was contacted about making a doll for the movie Gone Baby Gone by the prop manager, Jeffrey Johnson, we discussed what the doll's would be used for, when they needed them. etc. I was told they had been going through the site looking at the dolls and had one in mind but he still had to discuss it with Ben Aflleck to get his approval.
  During all this time, I was in the process of adding new dolls to the site and removing pictures of dolls that had been sold..
Jeffrey called me one day and told me they had picked out a doll from the website, but I'd removed her and he hoped I could still make one like her..
Then he told me it was the Thelma Doll...
It was like a wink from heaven and I felt my heart smile :o)
He, of course, had no way of knowing that particular doll, out of all the doll's I had on the site at that time, was so very special.
I was asked to make a 21" doll and send it to Boston, where the movie was being filmed, so they could see how she worked.. The little girl in the movie, Madeline O'Brien, is so tiny, the 21" doll looked too large next to her on film, so I was asked if I could cut her down to about 16".
That's how Lil Thelma, and eventually Lil Kids, were born...

Lil William is the newest friend of Lil Thelmas.
He has dark caucasian skin with light blue eyes, brown boy hair and a big smile on her face. He wears a pair of blue jean short overhauls with a blue checked shirt or a pair of sailboat pj's.
His overhauls are made from blue jean fabric with straps that attach with velcro buttons. His short outfit includes undies, socks and tennis shoes. His pj's include cute brown teddy bear slippers and a soft plaid blankie with an elastic wrist band. Both pj top and checked shirt are completely lined, close in the front with velcro and have buttons lining the front.
